Castle, Ship, and Bay
Here’s the ship painting with a lighter sky. Still sort of boring, but it looks better than it did.

I think the problem is that it isn’t saturated enough (and it isn’t the kind of picture that should be under saturated). Also, the castle is a little dark- not contrasty enough.

What do you mean saturated? Are you talking about the digital image settings? I made the sky lighter yesterday so the castle sticks out more and it looks better, but still the picture is a little too green overall. I’ll put a picture of the new one up tomorrow hopefully.

Saturation (sorry about using photography terms) pretty much means vibrancy, brightening up colors, etc. Basically your picture was a little dark. Brightening up the sky should do the trick.

Oh I see. I forgot to take my camera home yesterday so I could not take another picture. I think I’ll use the flash this time too which should help.
